Moving comes with a long list of responsibilities to address. Tenants often have questions about the ins and outs of the process, which is why we’ve crafted these detailed checklists for review. Move-in Checklist

Your first month’s rent and security deposit both must be paid at the lease signing. Confirm the amounts with our team in advance.

We will provide all information about the move-in, including key exchange and inspection details, at the lease signing.

After signing a lease with us, call the utility providers for your rental home to put your name on the accounts. You must keep your accounts current to stay compliant with the terms of your lease.

Move-Out Checklist

Planning to move out of your rental home? Please provide our team with written notice of your intent to vacate the premises. Remember, you’ll need to pay rent through the legal move-out date on the lease you signed with us.

Before you hand in your keys, your property must be returned to its original, rent-ready condition:

Rental Cleaning: Carefully clean all rooms in your property and remove all belongings and garbage from the home. Sanitize the kitchen and any bathrooms in the property. Floors need to be professionally cleaned.
Landscaping & Outdoor Areas: If you typically address landscaping chores for your rental home, take care of these once more before vacating the premises.
Repairs: If any damage occurred during your stay, make every effort possible to repair these issues. This includes patching nail and screw holes left in the walls.

After you move out of your home, we will perform a final inspection to check for damage. If we identify any problems, we will schedule repairs. All costs for such repairs will be deducted from the deposit.

The remainder will be returned to you, along with an itemized statement.
